about

Nothing Lasts is the first single by Irish based Alternative Rock outfit Paradox, taken from their fourth album Chapters featuring new soundscapes and instrumental additions.
The track itself takes a different approach to any previous Paradox sound with the addition of Cello carrying the song along and adding a whole new vibe and atmosphere to the bands alternative sound. The new Paradox album has been a working progress for 1 year and 2 months down at Wavefield Recording Studios in Bantry, West Cork (Ireland) with multi tasking musician, engineer and producer Brian Casey Music on the desk. Nothing Lasts was initially recorded nearly 1 year ago as one of the new albums earlier tracks with singer/songwriter Pete Mac playing drums, guitars and bass. Long term drummer and brother Mike Mac does drum on various tracks on the new album which were recorded at a later stage in the albums production. The band were in two minds about which song to put out first but felt Nothing Lasts best represents where the band is at musically.
